Sadly, fellow COMCC member Paul Knapp passed away on Wednesday 26th September. Paul will be missed around the club by his friends and all members who knew him. Paul was a real gentleman and our sympathies go to his wife Edna and son Peter.

The Mods & Rockers show on Saturday 13th October at Marcellinas, Semaphore will now be held in his honour.

A trip to Peterborough via Pt Pirie and then Jamestown the next day for the air show.

Weekend includes:

• Visit to the War Museum in Pt Pirie with lunch on Saturday
• Visit to the Motorcycle Museum in Peterborough
• Stay overnight at the  Railway Hotel, Peterborough with dinner
• Visit the Jamestown Air Spectacular on Sunday
• Backup trailer available for motorcycles

There’s a bus available or ride your bike. Meet at the Caltex, Bolivar Gardens on Saturday morning at 8:30 for a 9am start. Ring Bob Finnie (08) 8248 2220 or 0411 687 666 to book your spot or for further details.

Please note that the Club ride scheduled for Saturday September 1st will now start from Hawthorn Crescent, Hazelwood Park (starting point for midweek rides), meet 9:30 for a 10am start. We initially intended to visit the Mark Mitchell Museum in Birdwood, but will now visit the motorcycle races at The Bend Motorsport Park at Tailem Bend. Spectator entry is FREE !
