Three Ferry Ride

Rod Bailey, will lead the ride, leaving Hawthorn Crescent 10 O’clock sharp.
Any riders that wish to avoid the city can meet us about 10.30, outside the Little
Birdy Cafe at Nairne. We will not be stopping so don’t get comfortable.
From Nairne we will ride to Murray Bridge, Old Swanport Rd, Jervois and our
first ferry to Tailem Bend, where we will stop for a cuppa.
From Tailem Bend we head to Meningi, turning off onto Poltalloch Rd,
crossing the lake on our second ferry at Narung, then along the lake shore to Meningi,
and lunch.
After lunch we head straight back to Wellington, cross the river on our third
ferry and ride to Strathalbyn, where the ride will officially end.
It will be a great ride, perfect for cruiser style bikes but any bike that can
maintain open road speeds will be fine.
