Adelaide woke up to it’s coldest morning since last winter, and minimum temperature records were broken across the state.Sounds like a great day for a ride.Thirteen hardy souls fronted up at Hazelwood Park well wrapped up for the cold and ready to ride. The temperature may have been low but the sun was out and sky was clear.A nice run up Marble Hill and through Montecute before heading up Gorge road and on to Birdwood for a break and a coffee.
Then we were off to Mannum and ride up beside the Murray to Caurnamont, take the ferry across and travel back down to Bowhill for lunch.A pleasant hour or so was spent looking out over the Murray and watching a couple of paddle steamers cruise by. Then a quick ride back to Mannum for fuel and the back to Birdwood.
A great way to spend a sunny Sunday.
