DESCRIPTION:Rod Bailey\, will lead the ride\, leaving Hawthorn Crescent 10 O’clock sharp.\nAny riders that wish to avoid the city can meet us about 10.30\, outside the Little\nBirdy Cafe at Nairne. We will not be stopping so don’t get comfortable.\nFrom Nairne we will ride to Murray Bridge\, Old Swanport Rd\, Jervois and our\nfirst ferry to Tailem Bend\, where we will stop for a cuppa.\nFrom Tailem Bend we head to Meningi\, turning off onto Poltalloch Rd\,\ncrossing the lake on our second ferry at Narung\, then along the lake shore to Meningi\,\nand lunch.\nAfter lunch we head straight back to Wellington\, cross the river on our third\nferry and ride to Strathalbyn\, where the ride will officially end.\nIt will be a great ride\, perfect for cruiser style bikes but any bike that can\nmaintain open road speeds will be fine.\nHope you can join us!

SUMMARY:General Meeting and AGM
DESCRIPTION:The General Meeting on Tuesday 28th July will be followed by the AGM\, when you will be able to nominate yourself or others to stand for the various Committee positions for 2026/27. We are currently looking for members to fill the positions of Membership Secretary and Social Secretary\, currently existing committee members are doubling up on their responsibilities. This is far from ideal and all members should be asking themselves not what the club can do for them\, but what can they can do for the club. There are many anniversary badges to be presented on the night and the Clubman of the Year award will also be presented. \nI talked about catering at the last General Meeting\, in particular the possibility of the club providing pie floaters for supper. This has proved to be far too expensive to supply a decent pie for attendees. Instead Evangeline Finnie has promised to provide pumpkin soup and crusty bread rolls for all. We hope to see a good turnout of members at these meetings.
